Overview
Appointed by Sussex Properties Ltd and working in conjunction with ECE Architecture, ECE Planning obtained planning permission at Planning Committee for a redevelopment and new build project in Ringmer.
The proposals included the demolition of the existing garage and extensions to the existing property and also incorporated 4 new residential dwellings located to the rear of the existing property; the new builds included 2no. 4-bedroom houses and 2no. 3-bedroom houses.
The plans aim to create a high quality and thoughtfully designed modern residential development, creating individuality with a strong sense of place.
Despite the site being located in a highly sustainable location, close to two bus stops and walking distance to the central hub of Ringmer, the proposals include sufficient car parking and cycle storage for residents.
Careful consideration has been taken to protect the amenities of existing and future residents, leading to an enhancement of the visual character and appearance of the immediate area.
