Lady Bee Marina
Overview
ECE Planning worked with ECE Architecture and the Shoreham Port Authority to obtain planning permission for the redevelopment of vacant land at Lady Bee Marina, Albion Street, Southwick for 1275m2 B1 / B8 employment floor space with associated car parking and landscaping.
The scheme proposes a contemporary interpretation of industrial buildings, characterised by clean profiles, limited but generous window proportions and a varied and cohesive use of contemporary materials.
The proposed scheme comprises three 2 storey buildings with a total of 14 individual business units of various sizes. In addition to the new buildings, the site has provision for car parking, cycle storage and onsite refuse storage facilities within a central location.
The new Lady Bee Enterprise centre will create a benchmark in design for any future developments within and around the Port.
