Overview
ECE Planning secured planning permission for the demolition and redevelopment of a 5-storey office building with associated parking, access and Landscaping at Teville Gate House in Worthing.
The proposed development comprises the construction of a new pre let office building following the demolition of the existing old and outdated vacant Teville Gate House office building.
The proposed building will provide approximately 70,000ft2 (net internal area) of Grade A office space over five storeys, with staff welfare facilities, bicycle storage, parking for 10 cars accommodated within the footprint of the building at ground level, and screened plant.
The building will meet or exceed the British Council for Offices standards for office design and provide the highest quality office workplace. It will use a carefully selected palette of high-quality materials informed by its setting, to contribute a much-improved appearance to the streetscape and sense of arrival into Worthing from the railway station.
