Overview
Following outline planning consent in 2018, ECE Planning successfully secured a Section 73 approval and subsequent reserved matters application approval for the conversion and extension of an existing building to provide 250sqm of flexible commercial floor space, demolition of other existing buildings and erection of 12 No. dwellings, and associated landscaping and parking at Blakers Yard in Dial Post, Horsham.
Following the successful outline planning consent ECE Planning worked alongside ECE Architecture to evolve the proposals in order to analyse the different possibilities of the site and to preserve the rural character of the area and the strategy for sustainable growth patterns
The approved residential development comprises a mixture of dwelling types that range from two to three bedroom houses, designed to meet the range of dwellings agreed by Horsham District Council. The development will provide high quality new homes of a predominantly traditional composition, using locally prevalent materials but incorporating contemporary detailing, large areas of glazing and natural ventilation.
