ECE Planning are delighted to have received Reserved Matters planning approval from Wealden District Council Planning Committee for an 80 unit residential development at Manchester Road in Ninfield.

Working alongside ECE Architecture and on behalf of River Oak Homes, permission was granted at Committee on 15 January to the scheme appearance, landscaping, scale and layout and following receipt of Outline planning permission in 2019. This is the first major planning application to have been approved at Committee since the receipt of the Local Plan Inspector’s Report that precede the formal withdrawal of Wealden’s Local Plan by the Council.

The development will provide 80 urgently needed residential units (including 35% affordable housing on-site provision), internal roads and parking, public formal and informal open space, hard and soft landscaping together with sustainable urban drainage systems.
