Following last year’s success, ECE hosted a Charity Cricket Event for the second time at the 1st Central County Ground in Hove, raising over £2000 for Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice.

Twelve teams entered the tournament, with Willmott Dixon taking the trophy for the second time and Stonegate Homes in second place.

Team ECE were joined by Nick, who is under the care of Chestnut Tree House. Nick thoroughly enjoyed both spectating and taking part in the cricket games throughout the day.

Stuart Eatock, Managing Director of ECE, presented prizes to the winner and runner up. A charity raffle followed with some fantastic prizes including a signed Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club shirt, and a signed cricket bat kindly donated by Sussex Cricket.

ECE would like to thank all of those involved in organising the day, in particular all of the fantastic teams that participated and Sussex County Cricket Club for their continued hospitality and support. A huge thank you also goes out to Dannii and Mikayla at Chestnut Tree House, for all of their help in the run up to and on the day.
