Public Exhibition – Victoria Street, Horsham

Introduction

We Build Developments are preparing a full planning application for a development of 83 residential apartments at the former Royal and Sun Alliance Car Park, Victoria Street, Horsham.

We are seeking the views of the local community to inform the application prior to its submission to Horsham District Council.

This Online Public Exhibition will be open from Monday 26th May – Monday 9th June. Consultation boards showing the proposals are available to view below. Please use the Feedback Form at the bottom of this page to provide your comments.

Your comments will be relayed to Horsham District Council when the planning application is submitted and will be made publicly available, however please note that in accordance with GDPR any personal details will NOT be disclosed and are only collected in order that we may validate your comments. Anonymous feedback forms will NOT be considered. Once the comments from the consultation have been collated, the original comments will be destroyed.

Respondents should note that this is an initial consultation to help inform the evolution of the scheme. A more comprehensive chance to comment will be available during the statutory consultation period when a planning application is submitted.

The style of the building and choice of materials create a visually attractive building which responds to the character of the area.

The proposed landscaped areas and public realm will create an attractive setting for the new apartments

The proposed mix of 58% one-bedroom, 34% two-bedroom, and 8% three-bedroom flats will deliver an appropriate balance of housing to help meet local needs.
