Kitewood are preparing a full planning application for a development of 30 new homes at the site known as Saxon Court, Buxted, Uckfield TN22 4DT.

We are seeking the views of the local community to inform the application prior to its submission to Wealden District Council.

This Online Public Consultation will be open from Friday 6th June – Friday 20th June. Consultation boards showing the proposals are available to view below. Please use the Feedback Form at the bottom of this page to provide your comments.

Your comments will be relayed to Wealden District Council when the planning application is submitted and will be made publicly available, however please note that in accordance with GDPR any personal details will NOT be disclosed and are only collected in order that we may validate your comments. Anonymous feedback forms will NOT be considered. Once the comments from the consultation have been collated, the original comments will be destroyed.

Respondents should note that this is an initial consultation to help inform the evolution of the scheme. A more comprehensive chance to comment will be available during the statutory consultation period when a planning application is submitted.

Copies of consultation boards and feedback forms can be sent via post upon request, should this be a more suitable means of communication. Please contact sussex@eceplanning.com  to request hard copies.

The exhibition will be available for 14 days, allowing you plenty of time to review and provide feedback. Thank you for your interest and participation.

Do you generally support the landscape-led approach to development?

The proposed landscaped areas and open space will create an attractive setting for the new homes

The proposed mix of 27% two-bedroom, 40% three-bedroom, 17% four-bedroom and 17% five-bedroom family homes will deliver an appropriate balance of housing to help meet local needs.

The style, design and materials of the proposed homes create a visually attractive development that responds to the local character of the area.
