New Wharf, Shoreham – Public Consultation

Metrocity Consultants Limited are preparing a planning application for the proposed redevelopment of land at New Wharf, Brighton Road in Shoreham-by-Sea.

We are seeking the views of the community, including people who live and work in the local area, to ensure our proposals take into consideration your suggestions.

Please let us know your opinions using one of the below methods:

1.  We are holding a Face-to-Face Public Consultation on Tuesday 21st February 2023 from 4.30 to 8.30pm at The Shoreham Centre, 2 Pond Road, Shoreham-by-Sea BN43 5WU (Room 3)

2.  We will also be holding an Online Public Consultation alongside the Face-to-Face Consultation on Tuesday 21st February. From this date you can view the proposals in the form of consultation boards below. Please use the Feedback Form at the bottom of this page to document your comments.

Your comments will be reported to Adur District Council and will be made publicly available however please note that in accordance with GDPR, any personal details will NOT be disclosed and are only collected in order that we may validate your comments. Anonymous feedback forms will NOT be considered. Once the comments from the consultation have been collated, the original comments will be destroyed.

Please note that in order for comments to be considered, they must be received by Friday 10th March 2023.

Do you agree with the design approach to redevelopment of New Wharf, which now steps down in height from adjacent Free Wharf?

The proposal has responded to earlier comments about scale, reducing in height from 20 to 8 storeys. Do you think this height is now acceptable and if not please provide your thoughts below?
